Overview CL-Quant is the default image analysis software for the BioStation product line.
Supported OS
  • Windows® 10 Pro 64bit (English).
  • CPU : Intel Xeon Processor E5 v3 or later, Processor speed : 3.7+ GHz.
  • Memory: 16+GB.
  • Microsoft .Net Framework Version 4.
Modifications Recipe Apply
  • Added "Parameters" sheet, which shows recipe parameters, to the spreadsheet.
Print to Excel
  • Added "Parameters" sheet to the Excel file generated by "Print to Excel" and "Print Tracks to Excel" functions.
  • Fixed a bug where "Print to Excel" did not function properly after "Gate" operation was performed.
Auto Save
  • Added "Parameters" sheet to the Excel file generated during Auto-save when "Print to Excel" or "Print Tracks to Excel" options are selected.
Save
  • Added "Parameters" sheet to saved image.
Charts
  • Improved chart display by preserving selected measurements and axis ranges when changing the selected FOV within an FOV list.
  • Fixed a bug where the time calibration unit was not displayed in the x-axis label of "Trace Plot" and "Trace Plots".
  • Fixed a bug where the y-axis name of Dot Plot is not copied when "Copy chart data to clipboard" is performed.
Decision procedure
  • Improved object labeling by adding ability to label multiple objects at once using drag selection.
Spreadsheet panel
  • Fixed a bug where the calibration did not work after a measurement is renamed in the "Measurement procedure".
  • Fixed a bug that caused force-quit when selecting an object set row the summary sheet after "Gate" was performed.
LUTs
  • Fixed a bug where pixels above the LUT upper limit were displayed in black.
Recipe console
  • Fixed a bug where the LUT panel cannot be accessed from the Recipe Console.
  • Fixed a bug where the Resample function works only on the first frame in Recipe Console.
  • Fixed a bug that causes an error in the Recipe Console when applying a step that changes the mask or image display state.
  • Improved to display the mask on the image panel when recipe is applied and finished.
  • Fixed a bug where the selected "Display Unit" of Annotations panel is changed when changing the selected annotation tool.
Measurement procedure
  • Fixed a bug where the calibration is not applied correctly for some measurements (such as "LineLength") after the measurement is renamed.
  • Fixed a bug where the calibration is not applied correctly for Advanced measurements that involve some measurements (such as "LineLength") after the measurement is renamed.
Enhancement procedure
  • Improved the channel naming convention when a channel is added using the function in Enhancement procedure.
  • Improved the menu name of Downsample function.
  • Improved the menu name of Labeling function.
Data Explorer
  • Fixed a bug that caused force-quit when images in FOV Lists were removed.
Crop ROI
  • Fixed a bug that caused force-quit when Crop ROI is applied to images in FOV List.
Copy chart data to clipboard
  • Fixed a bug where the Track number was not exported correctly when "Copy chart data to clipboard" was applied with multiple tracks selected.
Annotation tool
  • Fixed a bug where all FOVs were measured when the annotation tool was executed on only one FOV in FOV List.
Save snapshot
  • Improved the default configuration of the save format to became to be same configuration as "Save snapshot format" in "Options".
Toggle metadata overlay
  • Improved the display of calibrated time values when FOV is reloaded after changing calibration and saving the FOV.

Nikon Corporation (hereinafter called "Nikon") grants to its customers a license to use this software/firmware that Nikon has created under the following conditions.

1. Grant

Nikon or its licensors owns the copyright for this software/firmware and all rights for commercializing it.
Based on these rights, Nikon grants to its customers the following rights regarding the use of this software/firmware:
(1) To use this software/firmware on their own, on one computer or one piece of equipment (microscope, digital camera, etc.) that they own (e.g. to input data, store, transfer, or output it).
(2) To make one copy of this software/firmware for backup purposes only.

2. Validity

This license becomes effective when the customer purchases or downloads this software/firmware, and automatically becomes invalid when the customer violates any conditions described herein. When the license becomes invalid, the customer has an obligation to immediately uninstall/discard the software/firmware and its copy.

3. Prohibitions

Customers must not
(1) make more than one copy of this software/firmware—either in part or whole—onto any media;
(2) alter, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the contents (program) of this software/firmware;
(3) resell, distribute, or use this software/firmware over a network;
(4) export this software/firmware and associated items either directly or indirectly; or
(5) do anything other than what is permitted in this description.

4. Disclaimers

Nikon disclaims any responsibility or obligation for any trouble or damage to the customer or any third party that results from the use of this software/firmware. Nikon reserves the right to alter the contents of this software/firmware at any time.

5. Miscellaneous

These conditions of use shall be construed by the laws of Japan.
Any items not stipulated herein or any doubt that arises between the customer and Nikon shall be determined or solved by discussion between the two. The court of jurisdiction regarding the dispute between the two shall be the Tokyo District Court.
